Causes Of Ear Infections and Earaches

There could be many such causes for earaches! An ear infection is the most common cause, but it is not the only one.

A common cause of earache in children is usually an ear infection, but it is less likely to be a cause of earache in adults.

Sometimes inflammation of the eardrum can be associated with another underlying illness, such as a cold, causing a blockage in the internal drainage of the ear or other referred pains like Jaw joint syndrome, Toothache, or Troubling Throat.
